“I really try to enjoy life and have joy with what I do.” - Tim Tebow I love the quote from Ex-football Quarterback Tim Tebow, however, I am pretty sure we all know someone who looks for things to complain about.
It can be something as small as their neighbor blocking their driveway to something as big as the high cost of housing. They fail to see the joy in anything. Now, don't get me wrong. I am not saying we should not complain, but for the record, complaining is defined as "expressing dissatisfaction or annoyance about something". They express their dissatisfaction with what someone is wearing, how someone else is raising their kids, how things are on their jobs, even complain about the long lines in the drive-thru. When something is not in our capacity to control it, why complain? In the Word of God, we are told to enjoy life. How can a person enjoy life if they are always complaining about something? In the Book of Ecclesiastes, we are reminded several times how good it is that we enjoy every moment. Jesus came that we may have life and have it to the fullest. Complaining overshadows the good in our lives. I have listed three verses from Ecclesiastes to remind us that life should be enjoyed. Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God. Ecclesiastes 5:18 Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life. Ecclesiastes 8:15 So I recommend having fun, because there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life. That way they will experience some happiness along with all the hard work God gives them under the sun. I hope that you all can find something to be joyful about on a daily basis. As a matter of fact, wake up every morning and say to yourself "Today will be awesome and I will enjoy every minute of it"! #EnjoyLife #MakeTodayAwesome #Ecclesiastes #Joy #BeJoyful #NoComplaints
Amen. Enjoy life 💖
