Genesis 13:14-16 14 After Lot had gone, the Lord said to Abram, “Look as far as you can see in every direction—north and south, east and west. 15 I am giving all this land, as far as you can see, to you and your descendants[a] as a permanent possession. 16 And I will give you so many descendants that, like the dust of the earth, they cannot be counted!
This morning my question to you is this, do you have absolute faith?
Absolute defined as a noun is a value or principle which is regarded as universally valid or which may be viewed without relation to other things. It is also defined as total, complete, not limited, and free from doubt.
We all know what faith means right? Faith is the assurance that the things revealed and promised in the Word of God are true, even if we can't see them, and gives us as believers a conviction that what we expect in faith, will come to pass. It is clearly stated in Hebrews 11:1.
What has God revealed or promised you? Abraham and Sarah thought they were too old to have children. So how was a nation going to come from them? How in the world were they going to have as many descendants like the dust of the earth? God's promises never fail. Abraham is known as the "Father of Many Nations". Abraham's life demonstrates to us a life of absolute faith. It is his "absolute faith" that God admired and was well pleased. If you are a doubter, now is your time to change your heart. Whatever God told you He was going to do, believe it will happen. Do not waver in your belief just because you can't see a way. God knows exactly what to do. Have absolute faith that the promises of God will manifest in your life as promised!
