If It’s a Lie, I Still Believe

'Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?’” — John 11:25-26 (NKJV)
"He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’” — Luke 24:6-7 (NKJV)

We live in a world where deception is everywhere. You can’t believe everything you read in books, newspapers, or social media. You can’t trust everything you hear on the news, the radio, or YouTube. Sometimes, even what we see can often be misleading.

The word on the streets is.. a man named Jesus was crucified for the sins of the world. They say He was buried in a tomb, sealed with a massive stone, and guarded by soldiers. And yet, the claim is that three days later, He rose from the dead. Do you believe this?

Well, if it’s a lie, I still believe it!

When I first accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I didn’t fully understand the weight of His resurrection. But over time, I understood that I could never atone for my sins or secure my salvation. If the resurrection of Jesus were a myth, then I am still holding onto that “myth” with all my heart.

My faith has shaped how I see life, endure trials, and rejoice in victories. Knowing that Jesus conquered death gives me confidence that my faith in Him is not in vain. His resurrection is more than just an events, it truly is the foundation of my hope, my strength, and my peace.

Because He rose, I have the assurance of eternal life.

Because He lives, I have the courage to face tomorrow.

Because He reigns, I can trust that every promise He made is true.

The resurrection is not just a story; it is victory over death, hope for salvation, the forgiveness of sins, and the fulfillment of prophecy. And if it’s a lie?

I still believe!
