Restoration in the word of God means the same as it relates to Healing, repairing, recovering, and returning to a previous state of being. All throughout scripture we can see the theme of restoration. From the restoring of God's Temple to the restoring of God's people to himself. God, the Creator, took on the title of Restorer once sin entered the world. He had a plan to restore the joy of his people. He had figured out a plan to recover what the enemy had infiltrated and managed to mess things up. God had put in motion his divine plan to renew the relationship with his creation. That plan, that solution had to be holy, righteous, and acceptable to God. My friends, the ultimate solution was Jesus Christ. If we are God's children, those who trust in Him, He will restore to us the things we have lost. He can restore your health, your marriage, your family, your finances, your job, your peace, he will restore your joy; whatever it is God can restore. We must be yielded vessels, who have faith that restoration is possible with God. Amos 9:14 says and I will bring my People Israel back from Exile. They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant Vineyards and drink their wine; they will make Gardens and eat their fruit. So if for some reason you view your situation as a hopeless one, a dead one, look to the one who gives life to everything. Put your hope in God. Isaiah 40:31 tells us,"but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength." You may be a broken vessel right now. But no, that God will restore you. He will give you a renewed mind and strength. Are you ready to let God restore, recover and renew things in your life? I am! I'm expecting it!
1 Peter 5:10 ESV - "And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you."
