In life, we are all going to come upon mountains or challenges or situations that we feel we can’t get through them. It’s like, negative situation after negative situation we are faced with; sometimes on a daily basis. We take 5 steps forward, then bam, we find ourselves taking 3 steps backward. Now those are the times we have to speak to our mountains. Jesus never said anything about going through the mountain. He said speak to it.
There are three different places in the Bible that mention Jesus telling the crowd they could move mountains. The first is Matthew 17:20, “You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible. ””
The second is Matthew 21:21, “Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.”
The third is Mark 11:23, “I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.”
So, whatever your mountain looks like or whatever situation you’ve found yourself; maybe money is low and bills are high or your child is acting out - speak the word of God to that situation. But don’t forget, Jesus also said you have to believe that your mountain will move. Your faith plays a major key. Speak to your mountain, believe and don’t doubt.
