Michelle Johnson was born and raised in St. Louis Mo. until age of 10 when she moved to Georgia. She is the only girl of a clan of three siblings and is the middle child. Michelle attended Pebblebrook High School and West Georgia College. She obtained her nursing degree from Chattahoochee Technical College. Michelle is the proud mother of a son, Brandson and daughter, Tyra. She is known as Honey to her grandsons, whom she has dubbed as "Honey's Boys". When time permits, Michelle sees soft ball, basketball and track as extracurricular activities. Michelle is the creator and founder of My Moment Christian Book Club for Women, established in 2015. When asked what made her start a book club? She states, "I am a reader and one day I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, " Share this with others" and I did." Michelle also stated that she was very clear on the true purpose of MMCBC when at one particular meeting she saw the impact of the women in the room. She states, "The Spirit of the Lord said "Now do you see". The book club has grown from 5 to 289 members from across the United States. As Founder of My Moment Outreach Ministries, which was also birthed in 2015, her heart's desire was for God to see families thriving in their relationship with one another and with God. The organization offers events and programs that are Family Oriented Ministry Encounter to include: youth empowerment workshop, family conferences, Women's empowerment training webinars, Women's conference, and Retreats. Michelle's true passion is seeing others live out their life according to God's amazing plan. She feels it is her life's mission to share the Good News of the Gospel to others so that they can believe and live life eternal. She is a John Maxwell certified speaker, teacher and coach from her desire to be a part of something big and to change lives forever. Michelle offers services through Intentional Launch Coaching and Training. Michelle was awarded the 2018 Woman of the Year through ACHI Community Awards and was nominated for Community Trailblazer in 2019. She attends Seven Spring Church, Lithia Spring, GA and says her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose." As an avid reader her favorite book is "Fit for Your Assignment by Reina Olmeda. Michelle A. Johnson is our "History Maker of the week!
