Let me ask you a couple of questions: What are your expectations for your life? Are you hoping for good things or are you expecting to be disappointed?
The things going on in the world today have a lot of people feeling hopeless. Loss of income or loss of love one has individual in fear. My friend, I’m here to tell you that Jesus died so we can be full of hope. The enemy tries to snatch away that hope. He will have you thinking nothing good will happen for you. But we have to remember that his job is to steal, kill, and destroy. We can’t allow him to feed us negative thoughts. He is the father of lies. We have to keep in mind that Jesus is our hope and with Him nothing is impossible.
It helps to remember how good God is and that His plans for your life is good. So, in the mist of your storms and uncertain times, hold on to your hope. Hold your head up and put on your best smile! Smiling helps you feel better. Don’t give up hope! Start expecting God to do something new and something good in your life! God has promised you “double for your trouble”.
Isaiah 61:7 NLT – “Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.”
