I lead a women's group that meets early, weekday mornings. We decided to use It's a Spiritual Thing! as a secondary text to go along with our biblical reading and study. I loved the honest prayers of a mother that accompanied each chapter. There are a total of nine chapters, and each one examines some area of prayer that many people, especially those new to prayer, may struggle. There is also space at the end of each chapter for you to write a prayer.
It's a short devotional, but it is right-sized for those who may feel intimidated by prayer and want to know how to begin adding prayer into their life without cumbersome, church jargon. - FreedomButterfly
